FD013 fitting instructions
The first step to take when fitting a FD013 seal is to peel the old one out of the groove, on the outer edge of the door.
Starting in the corners usually makes it easier, and sometimes wedging a screwdriver under the seal will help it start.
Then simply press the new seal into the groove, using your thumb, whilst rocking your thumb from side to side to ensure that all of the arrow head is in the groove.
The best way is to start at the corners and work your way in, to prevent stretching the seal.
Any gaps on the long sides can be fixed by heating the seal with a hair dryer and guiding it with a flat object such as a screwdriver.
In some models there may be gaps in the corners. Simply follow the troubleshooting below to rectify this problem.
